Back in the Natti

So I'm back! Was thrown right into school from the moment I got back on campus. It's been non-stop. I'm in an early week class right now called Bible lands and lifeways where I'm learning all about the culture of Bible times and the locations of where everything happened. It's so interesting and I've been nerding it up in there. Along with this I have got the opportunity to be an orientation leader, seven freshmen have been put in my care and its been so awesome to integrate them into college life and just be there for them. It wasnt easy leaving home and my heart is certainly still there. I come alive in ministry there and I cannot stop talking about it since I've been back! But that's what I'm working for, so I can better serve back home.

Weddings

So on the 8th August I had the honor to stand beside my best friend on her wedding day. It was such a beautiful day and I watched my best friend marry the love of her life. She honestly was the most beautiful bride I have ever seen. This week, herself and her new husband, Michael, move to Philadelphia where he will continue studying as a minister. I am honestly do excited for them. I got to talk at her wedding also and do a speech, it was such an honor in itself to get to say something on her special day, an it was priceless to sit down after it and have her throw her arms around me and say 'I love you' right in my ear. Pray for Michael and Caroline as thy go off on this epic adventure together :)

Looking Back on Fused

So it's the weekend after and I'm still in Fused mode. I'm still thinking up programming ideas but more than anything Ive just felt so humbled by the whole experience. I tried to really throw myself into the programmer this year, worked along incredible people and talked to thee most awesome kids. I loved it. Every bit. I was in my element the whole time and there were times t wasn't easy but t was so worth it when kids were saying that they had got to know Christ t had gotten closer to Him. Gosh I could talk all day about it all. But pray, pray that it doesn't stop here, that the influence keeps going.

Fused Week One

Wow. Words don't come close to how incredible this past week has been. God has just been so evident within our sessions and planning. Everyday we have two sessions, one from 2:30 til 4:30 then another at 7pm til 9pm. We are hitting about 40-50 kids aged 11-14. I am working with an incredible team, a God put together team. I am co-leading with Mark Rankin and my other team mates are Corinne Hodnett, Kate grounds, nick grounds, Thomas McClure, John Forson, conor Cadden and Holly Clements (she is starting tomorrow). To be working with these incredible people is just breathtaking. Each of them is such a blessing and have not stopped pouring into our kids. The kids are really beginning to respond to our talks. We're basically doing a bible 101, teaching from the ground up. Please please please continue to pray for our team, our kids, and our programme :) here's a couple of our last week (courtesy of Corinne) lets really rock this second week!!

Fused Week Two

So what an incredible two weeks these have been. Working with the kids has been incredible. Working with my team has been great. We have done so much cool stuff with these kids and have really watched God work in these kids lives. Not only has God worked in theirs but also in ours. This experience has made me realize that my heart is truly in Ireland with the people and the youth. It hasn't been an easy conclusion to come to but I honestly believe that God will call me back here after I graduate. This is going to cause me to think a lot differently (it already has) but I can tell you that when I leave here there will be a part I'll leave behind. That I'll never be able to take with me. This place has captured me (I always swore it wouldnt) but God has humbled me again with reminding me that He is in control. I love these kids so much. It's going to be hard to leave.
